### Job Overview

### Work Environment

### Responsibilities  

- Cut, clean, and trim fish or seafood before marketing or processing  

- Transport fish and shellfish to the work area  

- Check products for defects and ensure packaging meets company standards  

- Disjoint and remove meat from lobsters and other crustaceans for processing  

- Record production information  

- Set up and operate machines for canning, bagging, or packaging fish and seafood  

- Operate machines to clean, cut, cook, or otherwise process seafood  

- Weigh and pack fish in ice  

- Clean machines and work areas  

- Measure and dump ingredients into machines  


### Experience and Specialization  

**Equipment:** Shellfish processing machines  


### Work Conditions  

- Repetitive tasks  

- Handling heavy loads (up to 23 kg / 50 lbs)  

- Physically demanding
